Props Storyboard

Props are an integral part of any film. Within our film, they have several integral parts throughout the film without this then there would be a slight flaw in that part of the filming sequence.

The radio plays an integral part in keeping the humorous part of the film there. When the character comes down the stairs, he puts the radio on to hear a news cast about how thousands of people are disappearing from places and then the song club Tropicana comes on. We took the idea for this from the Chernobyl disaster of the 1980's when the music was happy and the event that happened was sad and depressing.

The above Jacket is worn by the main character when he is getting dressed to meet his friend. It makes the character look smart and sophisticated and that he is also a caring bloke who likes to look his best when needed to.

As with the jacket, these sun glasses make the character look smart and cool for his friend.

The key becomes a prop when the character locks the door to prevent the zombie coming into the house.

Finally the glass. The character on the glass shows there is a fun side of the character and his motives towards things but also that he is a little childish as he still likes Micky mouse.

Using props helped us to explain more how the characters actions were and what they were doing especially when there may have been a lack of dialogue or sound during a piece of filming.

Shot list for the first half of our film

After creating a shot list for the first half of our film, we went back over the first half of the film we had previously done and created a shot storyboard for this. This meant we had time to meticulously go over our film shot by shot, allowing us to personally analyse it as best we could have done in a slower format were we could list any changes we needed to make.
