The First Research task was to find out information about two genres which we as a pair would maybe choice in doing our opening two minute sequence about. The Choices we made were Comedy and Horror. Here is the Resulting work.
First point was to Find the Sub Genres of both genres and what each of them meant.

Both Genres have many cross over sub genres which include action , horror, zombie, and war/ military. Overall our choice became Action Comedy involving a zombie outbreak. Our choice was because of two things, first it was a combination of the ideas we both had and second it was because that we both had a good understanding of these areas and thought the ideas would be good combined.
Now with our choice of genre in the bag, we now need to use the conventions of both genres to determine the suitable storyline for which we can produce our film opening. We used zombie instead of action as most of the storyline is based around these things.

Through this , I have learnt about the different types of sub genres in the two areas we have chosen and what it takes to be made.
