Media Conventions of a standard Zombie Comedy Film

In the main film associated with this Genre, Shaun of the Dead, we have seen the necessary parts which make a film like this what it is.

1. Undead creatures. This doesn't have to just be people but also can be animals too. This Gives off the feeling that all are affected and not just humans.
2. Humour in multiple forms. Within Shaun they use humour in places such as the song choice and the actions of the actors characters, for example when they act as zombies to try and pass by them until Dylan Moran's character blows it.
3. An unusual or ordinary setting. In the case of our film it is a house

Within the way of twisting the main points we haven't really done too much of that with our film. We have tried to incorporates what we can of our own ideas but because our genre has very little film depth for us to take ideas from and mould into our own image, we had to go with mainly what we already knew so we could stick with the genre chosen.

Through this, we found it difficult to have a broad width of ideas to develop ourselves however we took to the task as amicably as we could and moulded it how we could in the situation we had given ourselves.
