Question 3: Media distribution

I believe that Universal would be the company to distribute and produce my film. I say this because they created Shaun of the dead, the other piece of media that is in the same genre as my film and they would have previous knowledge on how to distribute the film like this. Also they are a represented corporation so people who associated with there films then it would be more areas of the public and audience targeted.

Our film follows the rules of of the regulation which we had to follow. At the start of creating and going on the knowledge of how we wanted our film to be through Shaun of the Dead, we had planned our film to be a 15 rating. This meant we could have lots of blood and sexual scenes however during filming we turned out to have none of that planned within the film. We never had to character who was killed off shown on screen being killed or any actual violence at all. In a case like that, I feel the age rating of our film just from the filming we have done, would have dropped to either a 12 or even a PG depending on how we continued the film.

Distribution of the film is an important part within a film. Creation and editing get you so far but having the right person to distribute it can have the best image possible on a film and also have the biggest impact.
